‘Building your biofilm community’
Join us for a full day of biofilm talks and networking including sessions on: Biofilms in a clinical setting, Industrial and Entrepreneurial biofilms, Biofilms seen from a government perspective, Biofilms and academia.
The event will support activities in the Shirtliff Biofilm Foundation (Foundation). The goal of the Shirtliff Biofilm Foundation is to “Expand the boundaries of knowledge of biofilms through a world-wide exchange of ideas and research. Focus will be on Early Career Researchers and mentoring”.
Time: March 31, 2023 from 8:30AM-5:00PM (social activities may follow afterwards outside UMD)

Registration takes place via the ‘donation’ button on the website (Donation). Please pay the registration fee as an individual or a group (see below).
You will receive an email confirming the registration from the symposium organizers. Please let us know if you need an additional invoice from the Shirtliff Biofilm Foundation for your records.
The registration includes a boxed lunch and refreshments. If you have dietary restrictions, please email Dr. McIver directly (kmciver@umd.edu).
